Xymertec Damp Proof Primer and Concrete Sealer

Xymertec Concrete Primer and Damp Proof floor coating is a high quality epoxy resin system that has been developed to prime and seal concrete floors. Provided that it is applied to clean, sound concrete it will prevent moisture from rising up through the floor finishing system. Two coats should be applied to ensure that the coating is waterproof.

This product can also be applied as a sealer before the application of resin based self levelling flooring. It will seal the substrate and prevent rising air from spoiling the finish.

Xymertec Concrete Primer and Damp Proof floor coating is supplied in pre weighed amounts to make mixing as simple as possible. Just pour all of the resin and hardener into a clean buckt and mix well with a powered mixer. Pour the resin into a separate bucket and mix again. This is to ensure that all of the material is mixed thoroughly as  poor mixing will result in soft or sticky patches of uncured resin.

If a smaller amount is required use digital scales to proportion this product. Pour the required amount of resin into a clean mixing container. Zero the scales and add the correct amount of hardener which is half the weight of the resin.

Holes and cracks in the concrete substrate can be filled with the mixed resin filled with 5 - 6  times its weight of fine dry sand. This will make an easy to apply mortar that will adhere well to the substrate and set rock hard and have excellent impact strength.
